I have to agree with Black Jack on this one. It seems that selfish play is what has plagued the Jackets for the last couple of years. At the beginning of the season they worked together and got some well deserved wins, but that seems to be taking a back seat. I heard from a girl (not going to say how they know, but they have knowledge of what was said) that the players did not run the play the coach wanted. There's not time with a few seconds left to bench the player that has just disregarded your play, but that is not how I believe coach wanted the game to end. Why not utilize your fellow players who are open instead of trying to take on the entire team? The Jackets do their best when they work together - they have the ability to win games like this. I must say I'm proud of the Colonels for their win, and hope they continue to do well. They've got some great boys on that team that seem to work together on the court. Let's hope the Jackets figure this out fast. It's not who gets the most points, but if the team is successful.

I'm proud of the Jackets for working together. They are using their advantages - Teague's size (when should he NOT be fed the ball as he is taller and bigger than most of his competitors?) and a group of boys who have worked together for years and know each other. They've got to depend on each other and TEAMWORK and they will have more great results like this. Way to Go!

Congrats to the Colonels. Those kids had an awesome season and will be able to build from here to be even more successful. They did Whitley County proud!

It seems like the staff needs to get control of its players. I heard players were flipping the crowd off and one refused to shake the other teams' hands after the game was over. That's poor attitude. With some great potential for some of these players, it's a shame that they let attitude get in the way. The Burg should have been more competitive than this.

Coachi - no, that's not why the last coach was let go. W'burg SHOULD be beating more teams than they are. They do have talent. Cunningham and Teague both have potential and played well at the all-star game this summer. Teague is underutilized - % wise he scores most of the time he gets the ball, he just needs to get his teammates to share a little love with the ball and make a more dominant stand in the paint. I'm a 'burg fan and have been for years, but they're not living up to what they should be doing. They have more potential than what they are being coached to.
