  1. The problem is it was the surgery variety. That means they went in and took pieces of it out to fix it. I personally don’t like surgery on it, it can lead to long term arthritis. He must have had a bad knee twist.

Um hes an offensive lineman, the arthritis is already set in before now, trust me.

  2. Of course. I just don't think we need to make a mountain out of a mole hill. There's always going to be a percentage of those folks, and unfortunately there's nothing we can do about that.

I think the major issue is the lower youth levels. The numbers are small to start off right out of the gate. Where in the past they were (in some cases) double what they are now. When does that catch up at the HS level. There is always attrition over time, but if your starting point is low, that doesn't bode well for the situation.

  3. Louisville's expansion was built with growth in mind. It's not expected to be full for every single home game immediately. Initially, the expansion will benefit on the big games; Clemson, Florida State, Notre Dame, Kentucky, etc. In the long run, it will allow for more people to have season tickets in good seats for a very reasonable price.

How do you create more good seats for ticket holders......add more bad seats, lol.

  4. And I’ve seen MS school teams that couldn’t field a 7th grade team that now field 7th grade teams. While I do believe that growth for football will be difficult if not impossible, it’s a long way from facing a serious decline, as long as the coaches and other powers that be continue to evolve and continue to address safety concerns.

Some of that is just a small class size for a grade level. I think you will see this cycle back around. Soccer teams are full, kids are not getting to play, parents will make them do something else, football will get more kids again.
