How bad you beat teams has nothing to do with what class you are put into...It wouldn't matter if Beechwood didn't lose a game for 5 years, that doesn't warrant them moving up to 2A. How would you feel if they did move up, and they went 5-5?
It doesnt better your team by beating everybody year after year, all I'm sayin is move up, or play a more challenge schedule. An quite personally, it wouldnt bother me if they went 5-5

I'm interested in that answer as well.
All I am saying, IMO, is that I don't think there is a strong enough team in "A" to beat Beechwood. The "A" teams just arnt tough enough, which brings me to my next opinion, I think Beechwood should move up to "AA" because they are beating everybody to bad in "A"
Keep in mind this is just my opinion, not downing anyone or anything.

Are you saying Beechwood lost to a sub .500 team? Am I reading what you said correctly? As Beechwood only lost to NCC, far from a sub .500 team.
Sorry Double Fadez, your wrong on this one, they did play Newcath, a team most likely going to win state this year.
but I'm going to have to go with Beechwood on this game, "A" is weak.

Yes, Chris is a Sophomore and starts LB. With two brothers who have played college football, this is an extremely talented football family
That they are, also with another boy who will be appearing at NewCath in about seven years ha:lol:

HHS can study JC all they want, I believe the Birds could come out without knowing what to expect and still take this one, they are a good team both physically and mentally. Goodluck Birds

Both Kelly Boys went to the house, great job!
Yes they did! And to think Chris is only a sophomore, wow! That kid is one heck of a player

Isler did not have his best passing night, no secret there. But every ball he threw was def. not over everyones head. Multiple times the ball landed RIGHT in our recievers hands and was dropped. Kids who usually make routine catches did not catch the ball tonight. And Isler did not pass the ball like he usually does. It was a TEAM effort, not on one kid. As a TEAM they didn't play well.
I agree completely, game can't be blammed on one kid.
Although, I just think JC was just overall better, so CCHS playing a great game wouldn't have won this one, IMO.

Agreed, I think FC will take this one and make it what they want it to be. I believe they'll dominate this game fairly easy. Goodluck FC

NewCath big, but after this things get dicey.
This is a home game for the Breds? I thought they traveled this year in 1 vs 1 matchups, just like Highlands.
No, I believe this is a home game for the Breds. If all goes to plan, the Breds will be traveling to Corbin next week for the semi's
-
Hate to say it, but I think corbin will take this one. I'd much rather see P'burg take this one though.
-
Congrats to Ludlow on a good season
-
They are without their top reciever, so it will be tough to get it going. Does anyone know when and if Escalante will be back?
Most likely not this week but next week for sure.
-
Didn't get to see the game, but congrat's too SK! and goodluck!
-
Congrats JC.
I hate to see the Colonels go out like this.
I agree.
Can't wait to see the game vs. HHS and JC next week, should be a good one.
Although I hate to say it but, I kinda knew this would be the outcome for the colonels.
Sounds like they had no chance stopping JC's rushing.

I believe it is being played next friday 7:00 at Newport stadium
-
Let's just hope the play is clean from those dreaded chop blocks...you guys know who I mean!
-
Birds all the way !
-
I'm hoping Prestonburg takes this one.
P'burg 27-24
-
I hope it's a huge crowd, and I'm sure it will be. Any word on opening the field for access? Spread the word if you are close to the Cougar administration.
I believe it should be a mass crowd, and a great game to watch. Both team's are great teams. Although, in the very beginning of the season, I would have to pick Conner, but after things started to get rolling I think SK really picked it up and got it going.
I"d have to say SK in a close one!

Five turnovers and two long punt returns that put 10 points on the board will beat anyone. Beechwood does that against any good team and it will be tough to win. That is how they can get beat, just like against NCC. But not this week. Beechwood wins by at least 4 TD's and moves on to a very difficult matchup against Frankfort.
Agreed

How did Lloyd not out hit them? I saw the films at least 3 or 4 times, and NCC had very few big hits. Watch the films, and you'll see. The eye in the sky never lies.
I have watched them numerous times. Cant remember any hits from the Juggs. Although, I remember alot from NCC. #10 for NCC was hittin them boy's pretty good. Ncc has this one by far.
-
I look for Lloyd to be in this game. look for the D to turn it up thsi week and lloyd comes out on top due to the d and turnovers.
Lloyd 28
NCC 21
Not possible. Did anyone see NCC's defense last week, I think they are only going to get better. Hopefully the offense can step it up this week though.
NCC-48

That was the first Beechwood game I went to all year. I did watch them on tv against Cov Cath. Anyway I thought both of them were evenly matched. New Cath just made the big plays to win. Back to this game Beechwood wins handily.
I agree. Beechwood should make it look easy.
