That sounds about right.

Imagine if Calvin had a coach like Wiess or Tressell. He would get the ball every other play.

That would be a great atmosphere to be at for a college football game. I don't really like N.D. and I can't stand Purdue but to be in that stadium with all that history and tradition would be great.

Oh yeah, i cant wait.

In for a real treat. I've only been once, but loved every second of it. You can feel the history there.

He didn't have to be helped up like Henry, Hines is practicing for UFC, grappling and what not. One positive for the Steelers this week which is satisfying to me is that CJ will have to put a check mark in the Steelers "covered" box on his little chart.

 

BTW, I wish Hines would cry a bit more, the last time he did we went on to win the SB

All i know is i loved it when Ward got smacked going across the middle. You dont see him drop to many passes. Anyone else see him kick our guy after he got laid out?

I was front row in the diamonds last nite, i gave him the jinx too. Larue stepped up to the plate, i looked at his .180 batting average and his Power of Tradition picture on our ticket stub and i said no way he hits a home run here. Next pitch and its game over. What a game.

I didnt read anywhere in his post that said who started the smack talk, he just said save it for another thread.

I havent seen Cov Cath play but if Ncc's offense plays anything like it did last week it will be another long nite for the Breds. Their D should keep the game close for a couple quarters.

I think people are underestimating how good New Cath run defense is. If Ryle cant throw, they mite have trouble moving the ball. Ncc offense is not up to par yet and it is raining up here in Nky. Im still going with my original thought.

Anyone got injury updates on either team?

Clayton not being able to lay the bunt down in the 6th inning(man on second and the next batter after clayton hit what woulda been a sac fly to right) and hitting into a double play in the 8th cost them the game imo.

The bar is not in the corner. The bar encompasses the entire right side of the building. It's an establishment with 40 taps on the wall. It's a bar. Grill and BAR. You can defend it all you want. I disagree.

The entire right side of the building? So when i walk in and turn to my right there isnt an entire corner of tables for people to eat their food? They must of added on to that bar in the last two weeks.

I guess because I don't think it's right for underage kids to hang out at an establishment where most patrons are drinking beer and watching sports I'm wrong? All guys like to hang out like that, you just wait until you're at least out of high school.

It's bw3's, i see Highlands, Campbell County and a lot of high school kids hangiing out there. Its a restaurant with a small bar portion in the corner.

I am glad your thoughts are free if I had to pay for them I would be mad and disapointed.

The game was 7-0 until the 4th quarter. Maybe about the 9 minute market NCC blocked a punt and scored a TD off of it to make it 14-0. I left at the 7 mnute market and NCC had not tacked on the additional score yet.

 

The game was very competitive.

From what i saw Newport couldnt move the ball at all the second half, the only time they did was when Hesch scrambled. He did not have time to throw the ball . Newport maybe had three first downs most of the second half.

Ncc defense is good, but offense still has issues. Recievers dropping balls that hit them in the hands does not help when you run the no huddle spread offens

Losing what was basically a road game against Belfry is far from a reason to get down on your team. By the end of the season, that one point loss will probably look pretty good.

He's not a Nc fan, he's just trying to get under peoples skin.

I figured the Ncc offense would have some early troubles, when running the spread with a brand new qb it will take a few games to get in time with your recievers. I think ncc will be fine come playoff time.
