So you're saying they're "better now" based off of games against Ludlow, Dayton, Bellevue, and the Polar Bears? You may ultimately be right but there's no way you can base it on how they ended the season.
They played Beechwood three weeks ago.
-
I see why you're hoping BHS wins.......because you're confident NCC can beat HC and NCC will at least make it through the 1 round but not the 2nd.:sssh:
Not sure why you are getting so defensive and felt the need to wait ten minutes between your posts, iv seen both teams play and IMO BHs is two td's better than Hc.
-
If HC or Beechies lose, they just have to go back and come up with a different game plan and take the tough route through the playoffs. Instead of being 1 seed they are 2 and have to play NCC, not the end of the season. Each team has beaten them once and should take care of business again.
.
Newcath will win if they play Hc again.
Im still staying Beechwood by atleast two td's.

You can not question a "judgement" call, there is no way to do it. Besides the referee that called the penalty would have been the reviewer, what decision do you think he would've made?
PS - One call like that, does not cost a team the game.
He could have reviewed his judgement call that he originally saw for half a second, from different camera angles. He would have had to be a man for the second time that day and pick up his flag like he did earlier in the game. The guys upstairs could have seen this was a bad call and made him review it again.
Granted one call doesnt cost them a game, but a call like this does not help a team that played pretty bad on the road and still put themselves in a position to win the game,(sack and fumble recovery with 2 minutes to play)
-
Then why complain??
Because it was a huge call(terrible call) that cost a team a win. There is a reason why they review questionable plays with under 2:00 minutes to play. I think flags should be added to this rule also.

Beechwood by 2 tds.

This one could get ugly if the O Line can't get things worked out. Levi is out, and needs to have his knee scoped. That could have him out for as long as 2 months. EG and Whit are going to have to grow up quick to keep Carolina from killing Carson. D Jax, Jeanty and Simmons are questionable. Squirrel and Tab are out as well. Let's hope C Perry can return, and provide a little spark that's missing on O. Right now, I can't imagine the Bengals getting a W...
Il give my prediction after Wed.
Hopefully D. Jackson is able to play this week.

BTW, the Bengals division is not looking as brutal as it was 2 weeks ago. Cleveland is terrible. The Ravens are strong on defense but the offense is struggling. 3 weeks ago the Bengals was being talked about as top 5 in the NFL and they don't look anywhere like that yesterday. The Steelers were written off and would still have a huge uphill climb except for the failures of the Ravens/Bengals.
A month ago the Bengals had an OL.
The Steelers are still in trouble imo.

Do not blame the official, even though that was a "suspect" call, the NFL allows for judegment calls, which is exactly what that was. With that, all Cincy had to do, was stop them, beyond that, you should score mroe than 13 points with all of those weapons. I wanted to see the Bengals win, but something doesn't seem to be right in Cincinnati.
It happened to Cincy last year in Jacksonville. I heard no bengals fans calling it a cheap shot sack. Carson got hit, lost the ball on the game winning drive and the game was over.
-
Riiiiight...
Carson fumbled on the game winning drive two years ago, i never said a word. It was a clean sack that caused it.
-
But if they are strugglin with UC how are they going to compete with the Mountaineers?
Osu beat UC by less than a td their championship year.
-
That ref seemed to throw a flag on every other play. He had already had one flag picked up after he threw it on a roughing the passer earlier in the game(when the qb slid head first and was tagged down by our linebacker). Can the nfl review the game and suspend or fine him for making bad calls and being "flag happy"?

Whats that got to do with this ridiculous promotion. This just in Pittsburgh pirates opening game promotion, Chris Henry and Odell Thurman the "Oh brother where art thou" bobble head edition collector items. They are chained together at the ankle and if you give the chain a little jerk The both sing a man of constant sorrow.
That still wont draw fans to see the miserable Pirates play games.

yes, Ive seen Mayfield play, 3 times to be exact and yes, I think they would come out 5-2 or maybe 4-3 at worse...certainly not 2-5...I also don't think NCC would have as good a record as Mayfield if they had played the Cards schedule....I would personally have Mayfield ranked 3rd at this point, behind Danville and Bardstown only..I'm not quite sold on Beechwood yet either...
Have you seen New Cath, Cov Cath or Beechwood play at all this year? Or are you just looking at the scoreboard results every friday night?
-
Well I knew it wasn't in Cincy. :walk:
You should of said that instead of Miami of ohio.
-
And my point is that even though he was not wearing a helmet, the accident was NOT his fault. He is not responsible for having his teeth knocked out. The woman who pulled out in front of him is.
I know what your point is, but i disagree. Helmet laws are put into place because of this reason. Like my first post said, the accident was not his fault but the head injury was. If he followed the law, he would not of had such severe head trama.
-
I certainly think Mayfield is stronger than Pikeville and they gave Belfry all they wanted, so, yes, thats what I think would happen..
Isnt Pikeville vs Belfry a rivalry game? You cant base that judgement on one game.
-
I thought Miami of Ohio was in Miami of Ohio.
Nope
-
Not true. He did nothing to cause the accident. The head trauma was caused by the accident. If I'm walking down the street and someone shoots a bullet at someone, but it hits me...is it my fault that I got shot because I was not wearing a bullet proof vest? No, not my fault at all. Ben should have been wearing a helmet, but it's not his fault that the woman pulled out in front of him. He did not pull a kellen winslow.
If its a law that you need to be wearing a bullet proof vest, then its your fault for not wearing one.
He was supposed to be wearing a helmet for a reason. Accidents on motorcycles are almost always caused by the person not on the motorcycle. If he had the helmet on, more than likely he would have saved himself from most of his head injuries and saved a few of his teeth.
I said nothing about Winslow, that is a whole new can of worms.
-
So he broke what, a misdemeanor? How many people do that every day in America? Thousands? It's not nearly as bad what some players do around the league with their free time.
You said the accident wasnt his fault, but im saying the head trama was.
-
Neither did Ben. Accident was not his fault, right?
Accident wasnt, but breaking the law by not wearing his helmet while only having his learners permit was.
-

In just under 3,000 games over 19 seasons, Lou is only 99 games over .500 for his career. His 1519-1420 record is good for a .517 winning %. Stellar...
He was dealing with owners worse than Old Man Linder down there in Tampa. That will put a hurting on anyone's over all record.

BTW, I recall that Ken Griffey JR. was very depressed about 10+ years ago, and supposedly was thinking of running his car off a hill on 75 in NKY? or was that another pro athlete? I know that JR. did suffer from depression at one point though.
Im pretty sure that was Deon Sanders.
