  1. Right now, Hieneman simply because he's earned it. Helms definately has the potential, but doesn't have the postseason experience and needs to prove himself this year. Seagraves and Sagraves from East had great seasons last year and should be in the running.
  2. Springsteen, do you care to elaborate on that...what exactly do you mean by "alot bigger schools than Morehead"? And what pitchers are you referring to?
  3. I can see why you would feel that way. Raceland definately has talent come through their school, the problem is most of their players play all three sports due to the size of the school (class A). That makes it tough to do things "year around" like most other systems do. For instance, Boyd Co. and Greenup Co. have more one-sport kids because they have large enrollment and kids don't have pressure put on them to play all sports. They can simply pick the sport they like the best and dedicate themselves to it.
  4. I think Coach Vanderhoof at Raceland does an outstanding job every season given the fact that its a small school that concentrates primarily on football and they don't put in the time during the offseason that the other schools do.
  5. That's assuming Boyd and Greenup even make it to face each other. It might be Greenup's to lose, but if you ask me, the Region could be as wide open as its ever been. East Carter has two really good pitchers in Seagraves and Sagraves, so they could knock one of those teams out early. And if Raceland plays up to their capability, they will be tough to win against as well. Ashland is always a question mark, even though they usually have the talent.
