I hadnt really heard about people killing them in north eastern kentucky till this year. I know a couple people that have killed them this year.

I agree. Williams is a very good player who helps Greenup when he is in. He should see more time than he has been seeing.

Yea i forgot beacuase you know the future and Lewis is just that good. I heard they were the best in the 16th region.

Lewis is the 2nd best team in the district with Raceland in front. Lewis has beat Russell and Greenup both, so i would also say lets hope Russell and Greenup draw each other.

Remember Lewis county's shock to Greenup last year in districts? Greenup clearly had the better team but Lewis ended up winning by over 10. Cant overlook Lewis!

Elliott and East would be a great rematch, but i dont think East can look past West as West is a good team and it being in districts they will come out ready to play. Should be some good games in the 62nd!

Do you think Boyd Co. will get to T Heineman in regular season?

I dont think they will. I think Coach Logan will save him for the regional tournament against them so they would not have seen him this year and would have to adjust. I think the same for Boyd. Greenup will probably not see Helms in regular season games.

I think Billy Logan of Greenup will lead the region in home runs and RBI's. I watched him play a game in fall and he seemed to be hitting the ball better than ever. I also think Hieneman of Greenup will be one of the leaders in Home runs as well as Peyton Martin. Peyton will lead the region in triples in my opinion by far.

I think that Greenslate will be one of the better pitchers of the season. Along with James and Martin, of course Heineman will be number one for Greenup County. I believe that Hardin will be a good contribution to the J.V. team but I don't know how much varsity time he will get. There is just so much talent in Greenup it is going to be hard for every young player coming up to get a lot of playing time. But it just depends on who works the hardest and shows Coach Logan they can help the team the most.

I would agree. I think Hardin will see some innings in relief, but just no starts this year. Greenup is a young team as they have many juniors and sohpomores who will be seeing the field everyday, so it will be hard for some of these younger players to see varsity time. But i see a bright future at Greenup for the next couple of years!

Howard is to big for a dunk contest, but may get more dunks then anybody in a reagular game, but this isnt a game.

I agree with duck1220, both teams are coming off their biggest game of the year, however I think Greenup will win this one. Baker has been playin alot better, while being more agressive. Middelton has been getting open more and gettin more shots off.

I would also have to go with Greg Logan as the best coach in the region. He knows the game more than anybody I know and is just a great all around coach. He also has Steve Logan who helps with pitching and at first. Steve knows alot about pitching and can make some pitchers out of the kids at Greenup.

Should be a good game as Greenup returns alot of talent, and as Boyd always has a good team.

15th: Lawrence Co.-Paintsville

Great game to watch! Both teams played very good but Greenup couldnt seem to stop Hall in the 4th. He ended up having 30 points. Greenup played the best they have all season in my opinion. Middelton played really good as well scoring 25. Greenup seemed to be playing more comfortable with thier now coach and his style of play.
