Scott Co wasn't either! If you go by records or Public opinion:rolleyes:
Surely you aren't comparing Huntington's schedule to Scott Co.'s schedule. I would put Scott Co.'s schedule thus far up against nearly any in the country. The same cannot be said for Huntington. :thumb:

Not as big a margin as I expected.. Huntington High isn't that good of a team.

Ouestion for 15th region fans: How does Pikeville compare to other 15th region teams?
How would Shelby Valley and Paintsville match up with June Buchanan, or Hazard for that matter?
Pikeville is widely considered the #3 team from the 15th... I think the loss of Daniel Harmon has hurt that team much more than most anticipated.
To answer you second question, I don't think Shelby Valley or Pikeville could have stayed with JBS the way they played last night. I would give JBS the edge over both SV and Paintsville, but think both are slightly ahead of Hazard.

Pikeville turned the ball over, and over, and over, and over... JBS dominated Pikeville in every aspect of the game.

It is a Zvue... It was a birthday gift that my wife's parents got her...

Is Shelby Valley a single A?
Yes. This is their first year back in after being out for the past couple...
-
Yes... I understand that he started the game.

Final... Closer that expected.

It appears that Holy Cross and Shawnee are clearly better than the rest.

Final. Paintsville was led by Landon Slone with 26, Shane Grimm with 22, and J.D. Vanhoose with 18.

The 14th just doesn't have the number of quality teams that they've had in years past. This is definitely a two team race... JBS and Hazard. I think JBS is clearly the favorite... Hazard is capable, but it would have to be a low scoring game for the Bulldogs to be able to hang with JBS.

The 15th is pretty much a three horse race... Pikeville, Shelby Valley, and Paintsville. Paintsville has the toughest of the first round draws (Allen Central), but if they win that game they basically have a bye (South Floyd) to get to the championship. Pikeville and Shelby Valley are likely to meet in the other semi, but Phelps could give Pikeville a better game than expected. I think Shelby Valley's pressure defense gives them an edge over a Pikeville team that lacks in good guard play. Nearly everyone will have Shelby Valley vs. Paintsville penciled in for the championship game, and I think that battle is pretty much a toss up.

Oh well... my link didn't work...

Here is a link to one of the South Miami Senior players who won the dunking contest at the tourney...

Elliott County will play #7 Covington Catholic (#4 in one poll) tomorrow.
What polls are these, and where can they be found?

The KHSAA is reporting 53-43 as the score...

Thanks for the update...

Outside of JBS, Hazard, and maybe KCC the 14th is extremely weak this year...
-
Shelby Valley will be there too, but Paintsville could possibly knock them off if they have a bad night (BTW, where is the 15th tourney played this year? That could be a factor).
The East Ky. Expo Center... It appears that Shelby Valley may have lost a starter though to a knee injury against J-town...

Yep.
In regards to the game, Ferguson is putting up some really impressive numbers. He has continued to develop into a very nice player.
