Think this will be shaken up a bit

  2. Brossart in a close one and winner Friday wins it all. Teams that play tougher schedules have edges in tough games

If thats the case St Pat should win then. They have played some tough teams. St Henry, Ripley, Paris, Holmes, and Powell all are good teams.

Just one questions why do you dislike St Pat so much most people root for a hometown team over a visiting team no matter who your favorite team is.

    Good point. My sincere apology.

    No problem.

By the way I personally think that the officiating was pretty good. Of course like all of us everyone makes mistakes or does not see every violation. And of course the view of every call is great from the cheap seats

  4. Seems like a lot of miscommunication. First with St Pat who thought there was a game for several months, I guess we just dreamed that up, then with the officials....hummm. And why should the game be about varsity, I think we all have Varsity and JV teams:ohbrother: that play during the season so why should a play in game at a seperate site just be about varsity......seems like maybe someone was not interested in playing a good varsity team, because all of most of your JV are playing varsity.

  5. I was expecting last nights game to be closer than some predictions. The Lady Saints had not played a game for a week do to the snow and well whatever the excuse George Roger Clark had for not playing Sat night even though they loaded up there boys and sent them to play in Lexington. Paris has a nice young team the will have to be reckoned with in the near future. But I think the Lady Saints will play better this week with regularly scheduled games.

  6. Oops!

Question. The rest of the tournament doesn't have JV games, right? So why was there going to be one in the play-in?

Anyway, congratulations Lady Saints!:thumb: Good luck in the next one.

The JV game was agreed upon last spring between Paris and St Patrick. It is up to the two schools participating in the play in game if the want to play JV also, these schools agreed to play. But St Pat coach was not informed of the change until the day of the game.

  7. Thanks for the link above, although I am baffled by the rankings in the 10th on the girls side in particular with St. Patrick at 4th and over on the boys side in the top players listed, there is no mention of Stephen Mason.

My guess since it was preseason poll they didnt think we could do this well without the three seniors.

Obviously our game has changed but not for the worse just different.

Lots of speed, and as we all no speed kills

  8. Well thats the coaches choice, our freshman all dress varsity also. No rules about playing frosh and varsity.

Not a surprise. All the freshmen that have any talent at all for MC are having to play Varsity this year. Those girls would be Macie Spence, Olivia Colliver, and Keria Lockett. I'm guessing Lockett is the only one that might have played.
  9. It was a nice schedule to be 9-0. Playing a tougher schedule will beneift Branken, Brossart and some of the others.

If losing by 11 is being drilled then what does a 32 point loss equal. And by this statement this means that Bracken is not a solid team? I dont guess you think St Henry(9-4 in a tough 9th region) or Ripley is a solid team. Also beating Bourbon (8-8) at home by almost 20. Sounds like a little bit of sour grapes to me.
