If a student from out of county or state wants to go to a private school all he has to do is pay tuition, or get someone to "sponsor" him. If the same student wants to go to a public school, his family has to put his house on the market, sell it, buy another one in the county or state, and show evidence of a resides area. Three or four more will sign with not much problem. What other school in Kentucky will have 3 or 4 sign D1 scholarships? Buy it now?

Are you kidding me? Smaller number of Division 1 Scholarships? Are you burying your head in the sand? T and X will have 7 or 8 (3 or 4 per school) just this year sign Division 1 scholarships. Name me one other school in the state of Kentucky that can say that? The seven or eight that will sign live from one end of the county to the other, in other counties, and in some cases, another state. And you think the rules are the same for everyone? Get real.

By JR, I assume you mean Joe Ruddell, the athletic director at Tates Creek. And by Knight Rider I assume you are from Lexington Catholic. Joe Ruddell is one of the most stand up gentlemen in all of athletics in the state. I am sure the folks at Catholic do not like him because he has always stood up, with a tremendous amount of courage, for what is right and legal, according to the KHSAA rules. If we are condemning a man for following the rules, wanting all of his coaches to follow them, and calling out those schools that blatantly do not, then shame on you. Coach Ruddell is one of the best AD's around and without a doubt, the most courageous. Keep up the great work Coach Ruddell!! Many many people around the state are with you and in your corner.
