OK, I'm prejudiced but Villa Madona Academy not only has walking tacos and all the other usual stuff, but also freshly char-grilled hamburgers and chicken breasts, homemade chili or soup and often a special like chicken tetrazini or spaghetti and meatballs with a slice of bread. Sometimes also a baked potato bar and fresh fruit. We call it the Villa Cafe.
It's also not fair to have freshman or sophomore players sitting on the bench when they not only have equal or more ability but have also worked their butts off playing AAU ball for years in order to gain experience while the coach plays seniors who don't touch a BB from March 1 until October 15.
That's ridiculous. Physical play is part of the game. Parents and players should know that going in. If any parents have a problem with that pull your kids off the team and stop complaining.
Wow... the games are at 6 and 730 the first three nights... then in the mornign and early afternoon on saturday...
But god if you look at the pools it sure looks like Lloyd stacked them to make sure they make the finals...
now that a few teams have played at least one game, has anyone seen any new talented players in the 34th district. I know a lot of teams graduated a lot of talent last year and was just wondering if theres anyone new to look out for who might be filling their shoes.
