Out coach? You believe that the reason Cumberland has had success is because they are athletic? No respect for their work? By the way there are plenty of athletic teams in the region besides Cumberland, who really are not as athletic as they look.

Pineville is a top five team in the region, I don't think that's in question. When any of the top five teams lose, we always question them. Just good harmless sports talk. When they beat Cumberland in the All A region we will be back on their bandwagon.

I'm just speaking in terms of talent.

I think the year they won the region, that was their battle cry. But, how do you get kids these days to buy into a defensive philosophy?

I think any 1 of their starters would start for Corbin or Cumbeland. IMO.

I think his defense is key to Cumberlands whole scheme. Have you notice their scores, they shut people down. Looks like they understand what wins in March.

I agree. Pineville beat Cumberland last year in Cumberland. I bet Cumberland won't over look them.

How did Leisge play? He deserves a lot credit, he can defend with the best of them. They have so many ways to beat you. They missed 22 out of 26 threes, Johnson and Wilson both foul out, and Leisge has a bad game, and they still was in the game last week. They will be a tough out for anyone. Unless you get some help from the zebra stripes.

All you need in high school basketball is two really good players, and when they are your point guard, and your center. A shooter and some role players mixed with a little defense you have a recipe for success.

Middlesboro is the most talented team in the region, and maybe the most athletic. Something is bad wrong. Play Corbin to double overtime, and Cumberland to one overtime. Then lose to Cawood, not good.

The competition will get stiffer starting with Cawood who beat Middlesboro. The WYMT next week, it looks like it could be a all 13th region final if Knox can get by JBS and both Clay and Cumberland win.

Pineville and Middlesboro are very capable of beating Cumberland on a neutral court.

A lot of teams in the region have had 2 or more move in at some time or another.
