The Titans won this morning 9-4 against the West Region champs City Iron. They were a very good team. I heard that the Hitmen lost 8-3 and that St. Agnes was winning late in the game. Next games are Tuesday night at 7:00. -

Titans beat the Gold Star Tigers 4-2 last night. It was a very well played game on both sides. Titans will now play on Saturday morning in the City tourney. -

I looked at the website and all 4 championships are at 10:00 at Pendery. I guess the District 23 teams just got lucky. Should be a lot of good baseball tomorrow morning. -

Congrats to the Wildcats. My son's team played them 3 times this year. They are a very strong team. -
Both KY teams are 2-0 now. Keep it going boys!!

Congrats to the Tigers. It was unfortunate that the Titans did not bring their A game (too many mistakes). Of the 8 runs, only a couple were earned. Hopefully, these two teams will match up again in a week or so. -

I am being told that the B Division Titans from Campbell County are a force to be reckoned with. They could play the Gold Star Chili Tigers on Weds. night. Should be a great game. -
Any good tournaments in the area

I know there is a NKY Tar Heels AAU tourney this weekend at BCI. -
I was unable to attend but I heard that Nate McGovney played significant minutes for the JV squad at both 1 and 2.
-
I believe that there is a scrimmage between Highlands and Campbell County scheduled for Thursday evening.

If you were at the game, I would not say that any Wolfpack player sat the bench most of the time. I think the Wolfpack coaching does a very good job rotating kids. Mays is a very good shooter but his release is a little slow. This can lead to a lot of blocks against an athletic, tall team like River City. All and all, the Wolfpack had a tremendous weekend.
-
Congrats to the Ville and River City for their performances this weekend. It was such a great 2 days of basketball. The Class of 2013 is going to be a special one. The amount of talent I saw in all the teams was truly amazing. As for the Wolfpack, we picked the wrong game to go cold shooting. We needed the outside shot to beat the Canes as they really packed the zone in. In the end, their size and athleticism was just too much. We spotted them a 10 point lead early and that ended up being the difference. Congrats to everyone for a fabulous weekend of basketball.
-
The Wolfpack have had some recent conflicts with baseball but all nine will be there this weekend. Good luck to everyone this weekend.

I have to disagree with you. Kids pick up life lessons in everything they do, both good and bad. If you are involved in AAU, you obviously spend a lot of time playing basketball. This can be either good or bad depending on the team and situation. Basketball can teach some wonderful life lessons like good work ethic, teamwork, respecting others and winning and losing with class. These lessons will take the kids much further than basketball ever will. IMO, life lessons should be high on the list of everything a child participates in. Okay, enough soapboxing by me. See you at the KBA this weekend. It is going to be a blast!!
-
The Wolfpack have added only two players from the fall. Both of them will be there this weekend.
-
Its all about the KIDS, right? It amazes me how some parents act at games. What life lessons are being taught here? Grow up and act like an adult. Be a role model for your kid!! :madman::madman::madman:

The 13U tourney was the same weekend last year. The older boys are later to allow more time from school ball I think.

Pools are posted. Check playkba.com.

What are your predictions for the 13U State? I know I am biased but I pick Wolfpack for D2 and an upset of the G'Town Thunder for D1. It will be a great weekend of AAU basketball. See you there!
-
Wolfpack ran into a very strong team from Knoxville today. See you this weekend at state.
-
13U Wolfpack are 3-0 so far in the Bearcat Classic. They beat COSA (Cleveland), Central Ohio Blazers and Shining Stars. Quarterfinals are at 9:00 Sunday morning.

Anyone know anything about the Bulls, Clark County and which Truth team is better (Select or Elite)? Thanks

AAU tournament this weekend at UC. I believe 13U & 14U Wolfpack are playing in it.
