  1. If im not mistaking Bellevue beat Cov Cath in the Coach Conner Classic this past weekend 9-8.
  2. The fences were average but still if you have 3 homeruns in 2 games it doesnt matter how long the fences are, your on your game. Plus he put one of them out opposite field.
  3. Thats who it was! i couldnt remember which team it was, but yea Matt has 5 hr's so he's up there in the homeruns in northern kentucky
  4. Nichols has 5 hr's this year. 1 at Meinken 3 in Harrison County Tourney and im not sure where the other is at i think it was at home against Boone but im not too sure, but i asked him and he said he had 5.
  5. "I don't think Nichols would be the HR King this year but can someone tell me how many he has? 2 maybe 3?" Nichols has 5 hr's this year. 1 at Meinken 3 in Harrison County Tourney and im not sure where the other is at but i asked him today and he said he had 5
  6. Looked like Ollier did good. The score was 0-8 when he relieved Norton. I think Ollier walked 1 player and had a handful of strike outs. Brossart's team did a good job coming back and there were quite a lot of good plays to get them back into the game. Really, a good game between both teams. Good luck to both.
  7. Brossart came back from an 8-0 deficit to come close to pulling ahead with a score of 9-10 in the 6th. Final score of the game was 9-13. Two pitchers were used for Brossart - Travis Norton and Jake Ollier. Norton I believe is a Freshman? Ollier is a Freshman. Thought Brossart did a good job last night under the lights in a game that started at 8pm - 1030pm! Sure was a late night for both teams.
  8. Great game to watch - Brossart battled back from an 8-0 deficit to come within 1 run at 10-9 in the 6th inning.
  9. Dustin Skaggs showed pride in himself and his school when he showed up in his school jacket and walked across that gym floor to accept the award that he played hard for during the tourney. His team may have not won - but IMO - he scored high points for himself and the school he represented that night. Someone please tell me - did he also recieve the Academic award? Or was that the other young man from Augusta? I may not be from Augusta - but they obviously knew that they were up for 2 awards and represented well. I can honestly say, that if my child was up for an award (win or lose) - then i would definately make the drive. Installing pride and reponsibility in one's kids is high priority in my book. Side note - Calvary and Brossart played a hard fought game - both teams really gave it their all that night. They should be proud of their accomplishments. and - the young man who did the announcing?! - SUPER JOB!!
  10. Mustang - Can't agree with you more! Augusta was the only team that had a player in attendance to recieve his award along with the Coach from Paris picking up his. Would hope that if the kids were unable to attend - the school would send a representative to pick up awards - such as a coach or athletic director? Quite an honor to be given and then not even show up??... hmmm...
  11. Thought the boys played with a lot of heart thru the season. The wins didn't come, but the dedication was there and the experience will only grow. To end the season with as many football players as you started with - and with a 1st year Varsity squad - That's great! Says a lot for the players and for the coaches, and also for the parents who supported this program and their sons from the beginning. To go to a Brossart football game and to see the fans come out - cheering on the boys, whether they score 1 touchdown or not, is wonderful to see. I am excited to watch this program grow even bigger and better in the next couple of years. Congrats to the Bishop Brossart program for going that big step! Everyone keep up the good work.
