I agree 100%. Greenup is looking good all around. Pitching is solid, they're great in pitching depth. There is no problem with the pitching. Infield is going to be great for Greenup also. Do you think Stringfellow is going to be in the infield or outfield this year? Many say he might be in center. This year and many more years to come is going to be inspirational for Greenup.
Russell in front of Greenup?... Greenup is playing better ball, had Fairview on the ropes in the 4th... they play Russell Friday so I guess we will see
I agree 95%. I think that Hardin with his pitching and James playing the outfield they would be up with the "SS" by the begining of the 08 season. Playing varsity ball will definently help the two. I also think they will contribute this year maybe in the district tourney maybe in regionals, it will be exciting to see them get the chance to contribute.
Boyd might have a good freshman class but i dont think its good enough to over come the sophmores; such as Greenslate, Reed, Staten, Rice, Hardin, and James. You also got the sophmore pitching Greenslate and Hardin. I think theres two more members to the SS this year; Hardin and James
Im not saying these teams wont be a threat to the 16th but in my opinion Greenup will repeat this year and the next 3 years because of the sophmores coming up.
There are alot of sophmores coming up to be great players for Greenup. Greenup is going to be the team to beat for the next 3 years. Greenslate, Staten, Reed, Rice, Hardin, James are going to play a great role in the 08 season. Hardin and James coming up from JV last year have improved great from the fall.
