Honestly IMO I believe Farris is an all around better athlete than Maile.

He didn't hit good at Conner... I believe 0-3 could be 0-2 but you see my point... No hard hit balls there.

Yes some situations walk him but not everytime he approaches the plate.

Exactly trust your pitching live low because luke isn't the only dangerous hitter on that team... You walk him to get to somebody else ha not very smart either.

Ya why not pitch to him... I am totally against walking people... Every hitter has a weakness and even if you make a mistake pitch he gets on and even if he hits it over its only one run with him batting leadoff... One run usually doesn't win a ball game.

I completely agree... He seems to have some trouble with slow stuff away and fastballs up and in (but you have to get it above his hands)... Best advice I think is to pitch him low away he will hit it but on the ground more often than not and if not its usually pop-outs.

Go watch this kid pitch... Come back and read the quotes in this thread... Then make your assumption... Why build up a kid when he not that good... I don't mean to make fun of this kid I AM making fun of the people on this thread who actually believes he will get drafted... I am sure he is a nice and he is doing really well but write out a list of all the names the other kids who have the potiental to get drafted THIS YEAR and see if his name fits in there... Thomas Towles? of Highlands? Get drafted? Even go D-1? Wow talk the kid up much.... He throws hard but has a HUGE problem with control... He is very inconsistent, when he is on he is on but man he is normally not on.

I agree with those two on the mound... It's a drastic dropoff from those two... So they longer they stay on the hill the better the eagles will be.

Scott is much better than the two teams posted above and IMO is much better than brossart.

The poor guy made a mistake ya maybe schetchy but man he made a mistake... how would you like it if people came to your job and you made a mistake and they posted it on the internet. He made a mistake I feel bad for the guy.. Yes he blew the call but mistakes happen let it go.. be the bigger man and walk away and let it go.. Baseball is a great game but it is just that a game!

I think we are all forgetting the umpires are still human. They make mistakes just like me and you.. its a thankless job and mistakes are gonna happen... The quicker we get over those mistakes makes everything easier, because I can only think of of one guy that didnt make a mistake but he didn't umpire high school baseball
