These discussions are neither here nor there...but...how are so sure? "NEVER"? ...do you "Always" have a gun on him? I haven't noticed you behind the plate...? He was gunned at 83 as a soph trying out for the Ky Colonels...
I have held the gun :sssh:

Cov Cath will have an easy stroll to the regional crown this year...
I agree
-
Boone 9 NCC 6
-
He coaches at Bellevue.....not CovCath!! Bellevue doesn't have a quarter of the boys that the bigger schools have.. They competed against and beat some of the big boys this year..Anyone could coach at CovCath with the talent they have year in and year out....Give some credit to the small dog...the guy deserves it.....:irked:
I give him credit for his nice season.. but I don't give him my vote.

Agree with Raiderbird COACH SANDERS of Bellevue what a great coach and great guy!!!!
Your above statement maybe true but in the end he didn't get his team out of districts. He did beat Cov Cath when they didn't throw one of their top 5 pitchers but he did a nice job this year but he didn't get it done.

When Isler needs to, he can touch higher 80's somewhere close to 88 on a good day. Nutini, on the other hand, was consistently clocked at 82 last summer.
Nutini is a very good pitcher.. but does not throw 80's.. He threw consistently upper 70's but never 80.

Ya I was there at 1130 and coaches and some parents were there
-
I drove by earlier today and no I didn't see the players... I saw and talked to some dads but no players in site
-
I'll go with the underdog Raiders.
Raiders got the 2 seed so technically Boone is the Underdog.

With something like 8 or 9 loses (including a previous loss to HC) on the year I'm not so sure why a few on hear think everyone is so afraid to play Beechwood. They put the uniform on the same way everyone else does and I don't think Ryle, CCH, Boone are too concerned about playing them in the regional. HCs baseball history runs far deeper then Beechwoods and the Indians have been taking on all comers for many many years..
One of these two teams won't make it to regionals.

Look for the Bellevue Tigers to win their District' date=' than go on and do some damage in the region. Anyone heard of Hunter Jones, top homerun hitter in NKY that means they're always going to have a chance.[/quote']
He can't win the region himself. I would put Bellevue in the same category as Highlands. They both have one decent pitcher (Piper Bellevue, Towles Highlands) and one decent hitter (Jones Bellevue, Muench Highlands). Like I said in a previous post the have the potiental to make an UPSET in the regonal tournament but does not have the potiental to "win" the tourny.

Ill take Holy Cross 4-2... I think Holy Cross will get Elliott to throw alot of pitches getting him tired... Therefore I think Holy Cross will score but not until the later ininngs.
-
The best way to solve this is bring your Juggs gun. I have seen him pitch every game and only Coffman, Woodruff from Campbell and Robbie Ross from Lexington Christian have thrown the ball harder than him.
Those three are the only ones in state? Wow... So the kid from lex cath maronde doesn't throw as hard as him?
-
IMO... the referres are amazing... toward Cov Cath.. OG I agree the refs are bad but Cov Cath gets every call in basketball like in many other sports.
-
They would have to be the odds on favorite....but I think pitching will prevent them from getting there.
Pitching will be key for the Cougars and hopefully their high powered offense can get scoring... If thats the case Conner should be tough to beat.
-
Ryle has flaws and weaknesses.. Just like every other team.. IMO no chance to win the 9th
-
O I know we all have... I was just joking it was the perfect opportunity. ha
-
It's a line from "Bad News Bears".
"Bad News Bears" or Ryle Raiders ha ha sorry perfect chance I had too
-
Guess well see Thursday.
I've seen some Birds swing like Helen Kelller at a pinyata party. LOL
Wow! you took that way to far
-
Ryle has a tough district to make it out of... To even get to the powerful Bellevue
-
If im not mistaking Bellevue beat Cov Cath in the Coach Conner Classic this past weekend 9-8.
But if not mistaken Cov Cath didn't have their top 3 guys on the mound... Bellview has the potiential to knock ONE team out of the 9th region tournament but NO chance of winning it this year..

They are young men who love to play the greatest game on earth.. By trying out and making the team they deserve to play... All they wanna do is play why not give them the common courticy in playing 7 innings... Dont degrade these kids because they may not have the skill level as others... They are in love with the game you say you love so 2 more ininngs isn't going to hurt anyone... There are people all over the world that would absolutely KILL to play this great game but can't for different reasons and those of us that can should feel blessed... We shouldn't take away what these kids have earned.

i believe that shuttlesworth pitch those innings but im not positive on how those guys that scored, got on base.
The double was not a hit it was an error... Flyball should have been caught.
