What about Dixon from Notre Dame?...he does well year in and year out at an over the top football school.
I also believe Miller wouldn't be a bad choice...althought he wouldn't be at the top of my list.
Bennett from Wash. St. is a good young guy as well...
But here's to BCG staying put...please...

Wow...I sense a few Buckeye homers in here...Can we say defensive?[/QUOTE]
You could if you wanted I guess, that is your choice. Come to think of it, I do believe that the Buckeyes were at the top of the defensive ratings in D1 football in the last few years, so "defensive" may be a good term. I personally would call it.....Truthful. :thumb:
No one imo would be saying anything if Tressel had not claimed and proven ownership of the state of Michigan since he arrived.
All that defense and still lost to LSU...I know...I'm a hater...but I can't help it.
Wish youall best of luck in '08...bright side for me...yall go undefeated again...SEC gets another title and more stake to the claim that we are the best conference..."IMO".

Like the trade idea, but only for Crayton. Manningham? He just admitted to smoking marijuana, I think it would be a good idea for the Bengals to remove him from their board.
Here's a question: Not likely at all...Bengals need DDD, and more D. But say what if Darren McFadden is on the board win the Bengals pick? Again, he probably won't be, just curious to know how many would want him.
At least he didn't get caught by the fuzz....that's our biggest problem!
True, but he admitted it and that means he is ready to be a man imo, otherwise he'd try to hide it still...and anyhow, that could've been his freshman year...so give him a break!

I would love to see us get either Dorsey or Ellis in the draft...but That is a distinct non-possibility...so who do you like? A player? A trade?
1.Dorsey, LSU
2. Ellis, USC
3. Rivers, USC-I love this kid!
4. Kelly, Oklahoma
Food for thought- I love Chad, but heres a possible trade scenario I made up: trade him to Dallas for either Glenn (he's old and injury prone, but still productive) or a guy like Crayton and pick up a 1st rd. pick as well. Everyone wants to say "Moss was only worth a 4th rd. pick..". Well Randy was awful for 2 years before that trade. I will site the Bucs trade for Keyshawn in which they gave up two 1st rd. picks as my evidence to make this deal happen. We then use that 1st rd. pick on a guy like Manningham or the kid from Cal or maybe the kid from Mich. St.
Any thoughts??

I'm not a wrestling fan, but how about a thread on the best wrestling rivalry ever?
When I was a kid I loved Sting...he was my boy....Sting and Lex Luger

The Royals getting 100 wins is hilarious...
I am pumped about our new young pitchers...although I'll wait until they go around the league a 2nd time (re:Bronson Arroyo) to give a good opinion...

The bottom line is that football will never win at Greenup, but basketball will.
Hasn't football won at least 1 state title before...in '77 I believe.
Has basketball? Don't see any banners hanging...

At least OJ will play defense..which is more than you can say for most guys of his caliber and exposure...that's what makes him ready to leave college right now above all else.
1 more year wouldn't have killed him, but I don't disagree with this.

Well...if BCG would've gone to the Texas A&M game after we lost with an A&M sticker on his shirt...is it ok with Big Blue Nation?
I'm cool with it...if it would've been an OK St. sticker...maybe not so much...

Since when has football ever been a Gentleman's game?
When they start playing championship games at Augusta, then we can talk gentlemen...Maybe the Purdue recruit didn't want to play for a coach who is going to be leaving in a year or so...since Tiller has named a successor...
-
Been saying it for years. Sutton just need's a fair shot to coach, he is going to make someone a great head coach in a few years.
Totally aggreed upon by me...Nate is a good coach and deserves some credit...

Will any Rose Hill players follow their coach to Greenup. I heard that young Skaggs from Russell will be transfering this summer. AAU connection with RH group and his mother likes Tim's coaching style.
Does this hinge on who is hired at Russell??
Just curious...

Mark Madson is a very good comparison. I little more offensive than Madson.
My sentiments exactly...Hopefully he dances better than the Mad Dog

I had Kansas, Louisville with KU winning
Pitt and UCLA with UCLA winning and KU beating UCLA in final
-
^
So you picked Kansas from the Start of the Tourny to win it???
Yes I did...I had them winning in my official bracket my man...call it dumb luck...because I'm far from a genius...although compared to Doug Gottlieb...

I'm sure Bobby Knight has had a few nicknames for players over the years that are unpostable...
Speaking of...Bobby Knight.."The General"
Darryl Dawkins..."Chocolate Thunder"
Jerome Williams.."The Junkyard Dog"
-
I had them winning baby!
Love good defense and no attitudes..which really all teams in Final 4 had...except Carolina on D....but Kansas propelled me to win in the Pool...
-
B...lots of double digit losses but there was some good drama...some firsts...some new heroes (Stephen Curry, meet the World) so all in all I think it gets a B
Best Case scenario for Bengals in the Draft?
in National Football League (NFL)

No way the titans part with Haynesworth for Chad because top flight DTs are harder to find than top flight WRs. I still want us to make a move for Robertson from the Jets because I believe he is still available? That puts less pressure to HAVE to take a DT 1st and would allow us to maneuver down and draft a good WR later in 1st rd and stockpile picks. Also wouldn't mind a LB in 1st rd., although our linebackers are shaping up better for next year than last, obviously.
Odom, Ellis, Robertson/Peko, and Geathers across the front is decent. Brooks, Thurman (if he's in shape enough), and Jones (?) at LB are decent. AND our DBs were looking better each game last year.
Here's to eternal optimism in the Queen City!!
