  1. Wall is higher on Kentucky than some of you think. I'll let you all think what you may, but even though Memphis is considered the favorite, Kentucky is right there. If he is going to Kentucky, you'll find out something in the next two weeks.

Carlwell from Illinois is a nice player that I would love to have here. However, it's not happening. Brian will likely end up at a small school in the south, perhaps in the state of Louisiana.

It's very possible that Jereme Richmond will reopen is recruitment in the next week to week and a half. If things go at the pace they are, Kentucky could have a commitment from him. I'm not saying it's a guarantee or a done-deal, but Richmond to Kentucky is getting very hot.

Nice work. I hope, above all else, that we can get Wall. He is a phenomenal talent who could bring programs to that next level, especially with the talent we should have on board. I just personally don't believe, from what I've read, we are going to. But I'll take you for your word and keep the faith.

Richmond would be a welcome addition to the Nation!

  2. I know Adam personally and I can assure you that this is not the case. This is a contract year, He wants to put up huge numbers. He told me he was fine with being in Cincy his entire career.

Coupon, could you tell Mr. Dunn to expand the strike zone with 2 strikes. Cutting down on K's would make him look a whole lot better in my humble opinion. He could be a fantastic player if his batting average was around .270-.285 range. Then I would embrace him much more. As long as he flounders around the .240-.260 mark, as he tends to do, I will not be a fan.

  3. I have been arguing, in the comfortable realm of close friends, that we should've gotten rid of Dunn for at least 2 years now. He has a great eye, he hits for power...to quote Matt Foley (aka the late Chris Farley)- "Whoopti Freakin Doo!". In The Great American "Small"park, who couldn't hit with some pop?? He doesn't lead on a young team. He is lazy. He could give ManRam a run for the worst defensive left fielder in baseball, IMO. The time has come to restructure the landscape in the Queen City and I believe it starts with Dunn, although it most certainly shouldn't end there.

  4. I'd say 20-30%, if that....From what I've read, Memphis will be his stomping ground.

From all I can gather, this is correct. I don't think we have a shot at Wall. I am not saying that is the case, just MO.

Does anyone know if he is possibly a Wes guy? If saying that is against the rules (?), I am sorry and do not reply to that.

  5. This year maybe another long one in Devil land. There is hope that some new players will come out in the new Kidwell era, but ofcourse, it's wait and see. I predict a more productive season than last, but this is still not a team that will compete for anything major, IMO. They will be well coached, though. Kidwell is a smart basketball guy who will get everything out of his guys, and young asst. coach Joe Bryan is a very savvy basketball mind. They've got good leadership no matter what.

  6. There is no stopping Russell.

You might as well say that Russell will go 15-0 this season.

Drew Abrams is a beast. Their line reloads each year with fast guards to pull on the sweep, boot, trap, and counters.

    Meet%2BThe%2BDevils%2B2007%2B012.jpg

I believe that Russell just has to show up and run their 6 plays to win the game.

    sweep

    boot

    trap

    quick dive

    reverse

    inside counter

    That's a gutsy prediction isn't it?

Just a question, but who will be the RB taking snaps...or what everyone else calls a QB?

  7. Having the kind of talent he had didn't hurt things either. He did do a good job but don't forget about the level of talent that has been there.

I can name a lot more teams who were talented and failed than I could talent-less teams who did great things. Coach Kidwell is a good coach who knows a great deal about basketball. The Russell girls were lucky to have him and it has showed.

  8. I read that as well Brotha...guy is very credible as well...I'm excited!

This kid reportedly has played with older talent for a long time and has held his own...projected to be a top-10 guy in his class....but he has 5 years to figured this out...thats a long time...good sign for us that BCG may want to hang around though?

  9. I like the tops with the Bearcat on the back of the jersey.

The pants...well uh..they bring back memories of the early 90's fad of the Zubaz pants. Not good...

    Here is another link...

The players are also being asked to wear pegged jeans, mesh tank tops and British Knights as pregame attire.

  10. Thats funny in Tomlin's interview he said he had Sweed as the top receiver in the draft. I think I will take his word over yours.:p

Enjoy Sweed for about 6-8 games because his seasonal injury will set in after that!!

As far as Bengals are concerned, I will have to say B-. I love that we addressed need and still stayed with our board. The Shirley kid will be forgiven IF he can clean up his act. We are due for someone to learn a lesson. The safety from Appy St. will be a solid special teamer/backup. He's a smart football guy. I am not informed on Kansas lineman, although I've heard good things about him. Urrutia better show up in shape or I will be blasting Bengals for not taking Erin Henderson of Maryland. Why did he not get drafted BTW? Kid is a stud. Hello! FA signing???

  11. I said this during the season last year but Woodson was very overrated by UK fans and The Cats won games despite him, not because of him.

The wideouts made him look good.

This must either be a firestarter or a joke.

Did you forget about his national record for attempts without and interception, as someone has already mentioned? Or his SEC-record 40 tds?

Or his countless clutch drives late in games over the last couple years that never occurred before?

Yes, the team is better than its been in the past, but QBs get all the love or all the hate, and Dre' was THE man.

Go back to Knoxville or Louisville or whatever 'ville your'e from and quit hating!!

  12. I just saw that we lost Flemmings...

Small chance he'll qualify...needs a busy summer to do so.

BCG went and looked at transcripts in person and didn't like what he saw.

As far as Meeks goes, well, he isn't going. Anywhere.

Rumor mill is wearing me out.

  13. Mackey is no longer enrolled at the school he was in...He is probably not going to qualify and thus would have to get a GED...IF he avoids jailtime...he will be in JUCO...

IMO he will not be playing D1 ball this year at least...

  14. How about swapping CJ for the Chiefs 5th pick. That is a lock on one of the tackle's. I'd then guage who I could get at 9. If it's not somebody solid I would trade back a few spots. I'd love to see them move Rudi and Chad then get a DT + J. Stewart. They can get a very quality WR or 2 in the 2nd+3rd round. I wonder if the Lions would listen to a deal Rudi J for R. Williams. They are wanting to go to more of a power offense in Det.

No on both fronts. Chiefs want Matt Ryan or a top flight O-Lineman and they got a promising receiver last year in Bowe. Now, they want to trade Jared allen for draft picks, but it could be possible they'd listen to a Chad for Allen deal.

And no way the Lions trade a top flight receiver for a back coming off a down year. As bad as Matt Millen is, he is not that dumb.

  15. Terrell Owens-Grumbled about not getting paid enough and caused mass destruction in Philly. Also may have led to undisclosed injuries to Donovan McNabb by throwing him under a bus numerous times.

Willis Mcgahee-Showed no thanks to the team who drafted a guy noone wanted after horrific knee injury by forcing trade from Buffalo to already solid team

Chad Johnson-The fun-loving showboat who was the darling of the Queen City for years has turned sour on the organization who gave him a chance when he came out of Oregon St., has blamed it on criticism and (justifiably) bad front office moves. Now has blasted former good friend Carson Palmer on National radio.

The common denominator for all of these players- Drew Rosenhaus, a.k.a. Satan. He spits poisonous whispers into the ears of these formerly content players to disrupt everything, IMO (and probably everyone elses as well).
