Hicks best quality is he always made big plays when the game was on the line. I think he is an very good shooter and decent ballhandler. I even think he is fairly quick. But he is about five inches short of any chance at even the lower levels of D1. Even at the NAIA level he will have to shoot deep or off of screens.

The word is now, that all of the players are happy and have promised each other they will come back next year. If Trey and Garrison continue to improve JBS could be very very good next year.

Give Warren Central Credit they have a very good team. JBS played well for a while and have a big upside. I thought WC should have made the finals.

Childers and Conley only Seniors

Well you got me there, I forgot the fix was in against mason. OK JBS has no chance. I hope Warren Centrals players feel the same way.

JBS lost to Mason County by 2 on a Buzzer Beater 3 pointer. So anything can happen, I dont expect JBS to win but I dont think Warren Central will destroy them. Ya just never know.

JBS Crusaders (1) Guard play Stepp legit D 1 player, he is not selfish, but very confident. Cox aka Clark Kent when you see him warm up he wont impress but he can really shoot and drive. Clint Stepp if he is hot JBS is in any game. (2) Garrison Collins 6-9 soph (not a holdback). lets face it big strong you will notice him, Trey Short 6-6 good outside shooter who can rebound for a slim kid. Brock Childers one of the best defensive players in the 14th. (3) Community reaction ; well most of the people of Pippa Passes came to ALC gym after the regional championship game for a Pizza Party. Our town is so small we kind of look at things from a County perspetive, and I think Knott County will really support this team.

I have known both Stepp boys since they were babies. Clark is a very serious kid and nothing and I do mean nothing bothers Clint. You will see Clint cut loose a 35 footer.
