Any word on what happened to Boyles? How long is he out? They are a much different team without him... (to state the obvious) -
Received my copy today by mail. . . nothing changed, same old format. Some of the pictures are not as sharp but all and all another good production

Has the size and talent to fill Maile's shoes down the stretch and has a chance to be a big time player in the region in years to come

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... KHSAA recruiting rule... no one knows how those go....

Mike Listerman...First season as a head coach was 2000-2001... long time assistant to Dan Tieman. Record not sure on the numbers but pretty darn good (IMO around 750 win percentage, 2nd highest in school history) Good hard working, God fearing, family first man...

Nick Anderson and Chris Owens to Transy

Good Luck to them both... IMO I'd look at a few more student-athlete questionnaires at the D-III level before you say that. -

Covington Catholic Coaching Rumor Laid To Rest
CoachCsU replied to ColonelCrazy's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
These rumors seem to have began in the past couple of years...after the success he had in 04' in their Final Four run... Since then, CCH has had some great wins (Lex Cath. this year, a District Title last). IMO Holmes has had better basketball players starting in 05'; Holmes used to just have the better athletes. I believe that Coach L has done a great job almost spliting with them the past two years (3-4) with lesser talent; unfortunalty they are 1-3 in tournament play. As a former player of Coach L's I hate to see the criticism he receives because some parents believe that the reason their sons have not gone to the Final Four like the 04 team is because of the Coach. That team had a Division III (should have been All-American) 2 time All-Region and a Division I player. Could it be that the talent level has dropped in the past two seasons. One player playing backup PG in D III ball (Although Kurt Bovard had a great year). Coaches are easy targets at the High School level because people believe it is wrong to criticize 14-18 year old kids (I believe in that also)...but don't blame one of the most successful coaches in the state. Mike's losses in the Regional tournaments recently have not come because of his new assistants, it is because his kids are not as good as the kids in the public school down the road. I never thought Coach L was God's gift to Coaching but his record speaks for itself; some may not like his style (I was never a fan) but he is everything a CCH grad comes to admire in the way he conducts himself as a man/Colonel. I am so glad he puts this to rest...always WASTWND -

Wow...tough blow to Trinity... Rough year for the St. X/Trinity bballers -
I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at prep school if the bigger offers don't come...

By point guard do you mean Aaron Tierney??... what's the damage?

St. Xavier vs. Trinity @ Freedom Hall...
CoachCsU replied to Riverside 157's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Trinity by double figures.... Their guard play is much better then X's...I expect a lot of full court pressure from the Rocks.... X has talent down low but I don't see their guards getting them the ball enough -
Announced yesterday to the players. This will be his last year. Long tenured Coach ends career on a down note...too bad. St. X is ready for a change...
