I can't wait for the games to start. I will be doing the clock for the games so if anyone wants to stop by and say hello, please feel free to do so.

 

As for surprises, I would say Cooper and Lloyd as well, but with how the region has been so wide open this season, we should probably expect a couple upsets at the regional as well.

For me, I thought Dixie would be unbeatable and they have proven me wrong 10 times, not to mention lose the District Title. Also I did not expect Holy Cross to be a factor and then they rolled up 28 wins only to fail to qualify for the Regional Tourny. It has been a shocker of a season and may be interesting to see what team or players have really made a shocking and unexecped difference this season.

Oh and paNDA, I still haven't heard back on the pass list situation. Hopefully I will hear something tomorrow.

My thoughts:

 

Holy Cross was better than I'd thought they'd be. Adding Campbell wasn't something I saw coming.

 

Holmes, CovCath, Boone, about what I expected. Although, I will say Boone won even more games than I thought they would in the regular season.

 

Dixie, about what I expected until the loss in the district finals. Tough out of region schedule will lead to a few L's.

 

Lloyd, about what I expected until the win in the district finals. Didn't see that one coming in October.

 

NCC surprised me. Didn't think they'd be quite as good as they have been. Seibert and McDonald were both unknown commodities when the season started.

 

Several teams I expected to win more games, I guess that falls on the disappointment side of the ledger.
