Owensboro Catholic 56

Covington Catholic 43

CCH could not get any flow to their offense. Bad shooting all around from the Colonels, they let #12 from Owensboro get hot early, the Aces jumped to a 18-6 lead at the end of the first quarter that the Colonels could never regain. The game was tied 37-37 at the end of the 3rd but the Colonels went to a zone to begin the 4th and Owensboro was extremely patient with a possesion that lasted almost 2.5 minutes that ended with a and-1, and they took it from there.

Calloway County- 39

CCH still had a few offensive problems, but they moved the ball extremely well. Danny Noll had a career high 19 points off of the bench, including three first half three pointers. Cov Cath got 31 of 43 rebounds out of Noll, Schult, and Young alone. Kurt Bovard got his first start of the season and played very well doing a great job penetrating and dishing.

Covington Catholic 56??

Pulaski Southwestern 42??

Not sure if that was the exact final score but it is close. Colonels up 36-15 at the end of the first half, really pulling away in the end of the 2nd quarter. A stretch of Pulaski 3-pointers and unpatience by the Colonel allowed Southwestern to pull it within 9, but CCH held on for the victory. Todd Jacobs scored 22, Michael Young had 16 to carry the Colonels into the new year with some momentum.
