Jim Schue
"Black Love" by The Afghan Whigs (Sides 1/2) Best album of 1996, and one of the most criminally underappreciated albums of all-time, by one of the most criminally underappreciated bands of all-time. Just a great, great record that's chock-full of cold-chill moments, and a fantastic contrast to the litany of Pearl Jam and Nirvana rip-offs that dominated alt-rock during that time. An incredible live act, too. Anybody see them on their recent reunion show? I couldn't go, unfortunately.

Jim Schue
"Revolver" by The Beatles (Sides 1/2) I think it's a French pressing. That or German. It's got a thin cover, anyway, but it's Apple.

Jim Schue
I done made it a Whigs trifecta with "1965." And for those of you who might be confused, that other, new, wussified band stole. There is only one Whigs, and that is The Afghan Whigs, from Cincinnati, Ohio.
