Several basketball players from Pendleton are playing other sports, but they don't currently have anyone playing college basketball.

Dillon Greene- Thomas More (Football)

Garrett Ferrell- EKU (Football)

Aaron Bonar- Morehead (Football)

Alex Valentine- Thomas More (Baseball)

Good information, didn't even know Bonar played football or Cooper played golf.

Brossart 2010 grad Jacob Rieger, the KABC 10th Region Player of the Year, went on to play his college ball at Hanover.

 

Freshman Year: Played in all 27 games; started in 13 of those; avg. minutes per game = 16.1; team finished 19 - 8, second in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC), and earned a bid to the D-III NCAA tourney;

 

Sophomore Year: Has started in all 18 games thus far; averaging 23.8 minutes per game; second on team in rebounding; second in assists; third in blocked shots; second in steals. Not looked to as a scorer, but highly regarded for his defensive play, drawing toughest defensive assignment most games. 14 - 4 record so far, second place in HCAC, one game behind Transy.

 

Jake made a great career choice. He went to a school where he could play, get a great education, and his parents and fans get to see him play.
