Rumors last night was that this will be the last year that the Redhound Varsity Club will sponsor the tournaments. Has anyone heard anything about this. If this is so does anyone know why?

I will be surprised if this is the case. They did have a little controversy that you alluded to earlier over the officials, but nothing else that I'm aware of.

I think it is a well ran tournament and Terry Joe and crew run it to perfection. The only complaints that I have with the CFIT and Pigskin is the teams. I remember when the opening game in the Pigskin featured USA todays #2 Moeller vs. #6 Male. I think that the teams in the basketball could be better too. It seems as if we always get some out of state schools that people are led to believe are good but in reality aren't as good as advertised. I like seeing the mountain schools but give me Mater Dei, Oak Hill, North College Hill, Brentwood, and schools like that. It can be done!

Those types of teams could be had if there was more money to go around. Those teams want to go to tournaments that can pay for everthing and still take home a couple thousand dollars.

Are all games played at Corbin?

Yes
