Madison Central, ranked sixth in Dave Cantrall's Rating the State, needed overtime to remain the only undefeated team in Kentucky. Dominique Hawkins scored a game-high 29 points and the Indians (21-0) defeated visiting Tates Creek (9-12) 70-65.

Having seen both teams play this year, really surprised how close this game was especially at Central. Maybe Central, after the emotional ending of the Trinity game, being #1 in the AP and undefeated, the pressure is beginning to get to them a bit.
