I was just on the "Best Players from your school" thread and was thinking of all the guys I played against and watched play. These guys aren't necessarily the BEST players...but the tough defender, hustler, physical rebounder etc... guys that really made you "sore" the next day. Who are they ?

Although I didn't play against him, I would say that if I did, Tyler Hicks from Scott County would be my choice. I have never seen a player bounce around like a pinball on the basketball floor like that in my life. Did not know the meaning of the word, "quit". Got a whole lot of mileage out of his ability. Wherever he got that energy, I would like to bottle it and sell it. I would buy a bottle for myself, first.

I was told by somone who used to play for Campbell County that Turkey Jones was one of the best defenders that he'd ever played against. My friend said that Turkey would pick you up at half-court and you wouldn't touch the ball for the rest of the possesion. I was also told that he was very quick for his size. So Jones must have been good player offensively and defensively.
