Very good game, these two teams matched up very well, Holmes had a 2 point lead at the half, extended the lead to 12 mid way thru the 4th, Doss cut the lead to 3 with about 3 minutes left, Holmes made free throws down the stretch, Holmes led in scoring by Rice with 22, Coston 13, Martin and Palmer each had 9 points, Holmes will play at 8:30 tomorrow night in Campbellsville.

HOLMES 62, LOUISVILLE DOSS 55 – Senior forward Dontel Rice led all scorers with 22 points, and he grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs at the Campbellsville University Classic.

 

Junior guard B.J. Coston added 13 points for Holmes, including nine in the fourth quarter to help seal the game.

 

The Bulldogs will play at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday against an opponent TBD.
