Final from Brooksville.

Bracken County started out hot, scoring 20 pts in the opening quarter, with the help of pressure defense & Lewis Co turnovers. Lewis battled back from that point on, utilizing its size advantage down low. Lewis is young, but will be a team to watch in years to come & perhaps even this year. Very scrappy & aggressive, but needs to use less hands on defense. Impressed with them. Lady Lions are now 4-2.

Bracken struggled with its offense after the first quarter, but played pretty solid defense throughout. Forced over 20 Lewis County turnovers. Lady Bears are 4-1.

Sara Sticklen- 24 pts, 7 rebs, 5 assts

Cassidy Jefferson- 14 pts, 6 rebs

Jordan Wills- 8 pts, 9 rebs

Savannah Anderson (I believe that's her name)- 25 pts, 12 rebs. Just a freshman. Very solid post player.

Congrats to the Lady Bears!
