There was also a player from CCH that got T'ed up also. Not sure what he did either.

 

The "T" was on Bo Schuh after a made basket. Not quite sure why. I know he did say "wow" after the made basket, and the ref then gave him the T".

Worst refs I've ever witnessed in Freshman and JV games. Bad both ways and apparently don't even understand the rules of the game. Where to take the ball out of bounds in certain situations and what dictates an intentional foul, etc, etc.

I wasn't there. Do not know who reffed. Will not comment on yours and others overall claim.

 

However, I was told about the intentional foul you mentioned. While the signal is the same the officials did not rule it to be intentional as in "not playing the ball." The NHFS also deems a "hard foul that is excessive" to be an intentional foul EVEN if the player made a legit play for the ball as the Boone kid apparently did. Refs would be better served if they came up with a different signal.

 

Disagree all you want whether it was excessive as that's always subjective but they understand that rule and called it appropriately based on their view of "excessive."

The player blocked the ball out of bounds and swiped the kids arm as he brought his down. That's a foul, not an intentional foul.
