The Lady 'Stangs won their second game of the young season outlasting a hard playing Lloyd team in Erlanger 60-47 in overtime. Sophomore Abby Stadtmiller led the young 'Stangs with 16 followed by junior Rachel Hartig with 12 and sophomore Sarah Futscher with 11. Lloyd held a 49-40 advantage on the boards but Brossart outshot them from the field 36.2% to 34%. Perhaps the biggest edge for Brossart was a huge 34-14 advantage in points off turnovers and a 15 to 6 edge in points off the bench. Lloyd trailed 8-3 19-16 and 30-25 at the quarter stops and even led by 9 at 42-33 with 2:43 to go in the game before pressure defense and some nice play by the 'Stangs got them within two at 44-42. Hartig was fouled driving with 4.3 seconds remaining and swooshed both free throws to send the game into overtime where Brossart dominated every aspect 15-2. The Brossart JV won 54-7 and the Brossart freshmen won 35-5. :ylsuper:

I can never remember the BB coach's name but I've always liked him as a coach.

I am friends with Abby Stadtmiller's parents, other than that I know very little about this team other than they are young and hungry.

Josh Feldman is the coach, in his 2nd year. He has done an outstanding job with the girls.
