Les, how good can the Crawford kid be for the Hounds down the road? Is he on the same lines as Daniel Dillion who went on to Arizona?

 

 

I agree that right now Crawford isn't on Dillons level. Daniel was very pollished all around and an EXCELLENT passer. Josh may have the upper hand when it comes to strength and getting to the rim but for the most part it's Dillon's advantage. I think Crawford can and will be on that level though. We have to realize that it's a Freshman we are talking about. He is very good right now for his age but there are 3 1/2 more years left for him to get better. He has some flaws and should take these remaining 3 1/2 years and turn himself into a 13th Region legend. The ball is in his hand.

Barbourville(5-2) vs. Poinciana, FL at 6:30 Tuesday

This should be an interesting matchup of styles as I look for Coach Phipps to try and make this a half-court game and Poinciana to be more of a pressing and up-tempo team. Poinciana is led by Dante' Curry, a 6'4" guard who had committed to play for South Florida from the Big East Conference.

 

Perry Central(7-1) vs. Bell Co.(7-2) at 8:30 Tuesday

Perry Central owns wins over Leslie Co., Hazard, Clay Co. and also won the Smoky Mtn. Holiday Classic last week in Gatlinburg.

Bell co. has a 13 point win over Harlan and won 3 out of 4 games last week at the Country Music Highway Classic.

Corbin will win the tourney

I agree if they get by their opening game look out, the hounds will be hard to handle!
