Final from Somerset. Robertson led all scorers with 29 points, he was 15-18 from the free throw line. Somerset looked good considering the bulk of the team has only been practicing a week. Somerset appeared to still be in football mode as they were whistled for 29 fouls and the Lakers shot 39 free throws. Cheuvront and Gordon led Somerset with 18 points each.

Although Somerset lost, there were a lot of positives. Somerset is going to be very physical and that is how Coach Daniels wants them playing. There were 9 fouls in the first quarter alone. They went 10 deep tonight and that could be the norm. It will be fun to watch Somerset progress this year.

This is a pretty good showing considering that Lincoln County lost to Russell County at Lincoln County by 7. Despite this loss things look to be going in the right direction for Somerset.
