Rickyp Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Dakotah Euton led Rose Hill with 25. Johnny Bush made several big plays down the stretch. Rose Hill's best win in a couple of years.
CatchMeIfYouCan Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 If this is Rose Hills best win in a couple of years then thats not sayin too much. This is as down as Breathitt has been in a few years....

This is as down as Breathitt has been in a few years.... Rose Hill has won 5 games in 2 years. It is a big win and the first of many over the next few years.
ACE Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 I assume this is being played on the "big" court at LexCath. If I am not mistaken this is a college size court. If so, no wonder the girls(both teams) ran out of gas. One of the few times I saw Mayo worn out was on this court in 7th/8th grade. It's a great facility.
Nothingbutnet Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 If this is Rose Hills best win in a couple of years then thats not sayin too much. This is as down as Breathitt has been in a few years.... Maybe so, BUT do you know how down Rose Hill has been the last couple of years!!!!!! Congrats to the Royals on finally knocking off a school that has a good name for athletics!! Rose Hill will be a very competitive team in the next few years IF they can keep all of their players!!
Sportsfan33 Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Congrats Royals. Any details about this game?
Rickyp Posted December 23, 2005 Author Posted December 23, 2005 Congrats Royals. Any details about this game? Rose Hill just executed much better than they have at any other time this year. I think they have gotten more comfortable as the tournament has progressed. Their scoring was balanced outside of Euton. The big thing I noticed is how much more confortable Chase Jackson and Caleb Snyder appeared to be in this game. Both seem to be settling in, so to speak. Breathitt obviously is down this year but has been competitive in this tournament. They played Raceland to the wire on Tuesday.

I know BHS took Raceland down to the wire, but the last two scores have been a difference of 13 and 14 points. Are the games closer than the scores indicate?
royalblue Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 people (haters) can be as negative as they want to be but the royals are on the rise. a great team effort was displayed on the court yesterday as every royal contributed in some way fashion or form. im sure there will be bumps in the road from time to time but i can tell you that the kids at rose hill are only going to get better and better

Are the games closer than the scores indicate? breathitt was down by 21 to Raceland either late in the third or early in the 4th. Raceland started stalling and began turning the ball over and Breathitt hit a bunch of 3's to cut it down. Breathitt hit a 3 at the buzzer to cut it to 2.
