Alumni Games

Featured Replies

Anyone out there have Alumni Games where past players come back and play? Of course this is flag football and not pads, just to raise money or for gatherings.

Rockcastle Co and Clay Co had an alumni game a few years ago. Dn't remember the year, but believe it was in early 90's. It was FULL PADS.

I do remember that Rock won in a hard hitting game by a bunch of old guys.

Frankfort had one this past summer...They made the mistake of putting all the younger players (guys from my class) on one team against the older fellows...It got ugly...

how did you guys get to do it in pads, was there release forms for the guys to sign?? I would love to get the guys back in pads for the alumni game but I dont think the school would like it much.

Anyway, how did the crowds turn out,

what was the best about it,

what could be improved on if they did it again, (do not put the young kids on a team)

Just wondering, our football alumni club is getting this started to help out the football team. Attempt to raise money and so on.

How did the games turn out when you had them.

Oh man, on the sidelines of the Male-Manual game those of us from the class of aught two and three were talking about how much fun it would be to put the pads on and go up against those guys... they might be in better shape, but we were bigger and wiser.
