Mercer Co will travel to GRC Friday to take on the Cards. This is the only home game for GRC till Jan. 3rd. GRC is coming off a great road win against Covington Catholic. Mercer Co lost thier opener against Marion Co. Mercer Co is like GRC, in replacing 8 seniors from last years team. Both are inexperienced. Your thoughts on this game.

GRC will roll easily. Mercer is at least a year away from fielding a team capable of traveling to GRC and competing. Just too young and inexperienced. I look forward to watching Mercer progress this year and next year but right now they just aren't ready. Coach Britt made this schedule tough early to put some hair on their chest and to hopefully have them ready to compete for the district title in February.

Will go with GRC in this one for first home game of the year. Looking forward to seeing both teams in action on Friday.

Couple of games next week will be closer, but most before Christmas will be long drives. Guess it makes up for all the home games last year.
