The Bengals are reportedly trading Carson Palmer to the Oakland Raiders for a 2012 1st draft pick and a conditional 1st round draft pick in 2013. Thoughts?

That would be good for the Bengals. I think it would be crazy to give up a 1st round draft pick for an average QB, much less the possiblity of giving up two 1st round picks. I know the second one is conditional but if the Bengals just got a 1st round pick I would take it.

Good trade by the Bengals. WOW! Did I really just say that? Second youngest team in the league right now and the only way for Cincy to build is through the draft, as no free agent with any value chooses to go there. New rookie cap makes that route even more appealing. Two firsts a second and two thirds has the makings of a franchise changing draft.
