As much as I would love to see my Cards win....don't think it is in the cards ( pun intednded)

We have got to get healthy. We had at least 9 players out for last nights game and 4 of those players were starters for the defensive unit. QB Campbell was also not playing and on the sidelines with crutches. T. Creteau was again taken to the locker room early in the 1st half and didn't return.

Will Pokey Harris again have a big game? Big district game on the line. Look for Lafayette to finish the season and being the #1 team in this district.

Lafayette has only scored more than 28 pts twice this season. Their offense seems like it struggles at times? They dont seem like to me the type of team that is going to score enough to beat someone by 4 TD's or more very often. Their defense however, has held every opponent theyve played(except Owensboro) to that particular teams lowest amount or 2nd lowest amount of points scored for the whole season. Shutout Henry Clay, held Lex Cath to 21, held Bryan Station to 19, etc...

I will say that I think Lafayette wins this game by 14. Ill say 27-13 Generals.

Our defense is struggling right now. Hope we don't see Lafayette put up some big numbers. If we can do that then I would love to see GRC pull the upset and win their first district game and end this losing streak.

Update on QB Campbell. Clark senior quarterback Reid Campbell is expected to return to the lineup after missing last week’s contest because of an ankle injury. Campbell injured the ankle in the Cards’ 48-6 loss to Scott County on Sept. 23, took part in light workouts earlier this week and “felt good.” He was scheduled to return practice Wednesday.

GRC is better off with Harris taking snaps in the gun for the majority of the game. There are way more options for him there. Thus making him way harder to defend.

It did look that way against Harlan Co. GRC scored more points on them than anyone in the last 2 years.

I dont think it would be a bad thing to start Harris and slowly move Campbell back into taking some snaps. Gives the offense a couple more options IMO.

Some snaps. That would be it in my opinion. If he is at QB he could go anywhere. Plus the ball is in Harris' hand a second or two quicker. Makes all the difference for a kid like that. Look at the other games. Against Corbin, nip and tuck until he was at QB then bam in the end zone two times to seal the game. Vs. Harlan County at QB in wildcat, 4 TD's. Someone else handing to him, no TD's and not very many yards.
