Final.

Flyers down 21-7 at the half. They storm back and take the lead in the 3rd. Then finish strong to win it 40-29.

Congrats to the Flyers. Awesome 3rd quarter.

310 yards rushing by the Flyers to go along with 185 yards passing. Chris Roberts with a big game at RB. Also a big run early in the 3rd by Daniel Anderson for a 77 yard TD. That and then the onside kick and recovery, the comeback was rolling. Great crowd too. Another big night for Timmons for the Flyers. James Maddox, Monty Wilson and Sean Jarboe come up big for the Flyer D along with lineman Jay Brough and Dale Hensley. Flyer O line was awesome 2nd half.

Flyers are 7-0 for the 1st time since 1971. Before tonight they were tied with the team from 2000. They were 6-0 before the 1st loss, and they finished the regular season 9-1 that year. Go Flyers!

Franklin County's more balanced offense was a difference in this game. East Jessamine showed no ability to pass and this allowed Franklin County to load up for the running game. Got to give a lot of credit to Jay Brough and Dale Hensley on the line. I think this was the first game back for Hensley after injury......heard his name called several times for key tackles.

The Flyers need to still improve on Defense, especially against the run. Thomas of EJ is a great RB. Hats off to him last night. Also Special Teams looked off last night for the Flyers. Gotta shore that area up too. Back to work and get ready for Woodford Co.

Flyers will not lose a game from this point. There one weakness was stopping the run consistantly. They proved they could do that. The will continue to roll. Proved they can handle adversity last night. This team has all the tools and very fun to watch.

A very slow first half for the flyers after being down 21-7 halftime. What is most impressive is that the defense litterally shut down East Jessimine in the 3rd and the 4th quarter with the exception of one TD run by Cameron Thomas who is an excellent running back.
