28-27 South after three periods, but North Hardin gets two big runs in the fourth for scores, then gets a deflected pass interception return for a "icing on the cake" score and a deceptively big margin. All three NHHS fourth quarter scores came during a five minute period from approx. the 7 minute to the 2 minute mark...

 

Trojans rushed for over 400 yards and threw just one pass (a completion for 15-20 yards).

 

South rushed for nearly 300 yards themselves, and junior QB Jack Sherry completed 4 passes for 115 yards and 2 TDs / 2 INT, but the South defense struggled against the run.

 

Michael Brunson had a big night for North, with four TDs...

 

South had two dramatic scores; passes from Sherry to senior WR Jacob Lamb went for scores on the final play of the first and second periods...

1st and 4th quarters were almost all North Hardin. 2nd and 3rd quarters things definately got interesting. I look for both of these schools to have very good years in 5A.
