COAL GROVE DAWSON-BRYANT.

I talked to the Dawson-Bryant coach at the Ohio State Finals.

 

He said this is one of four non-league games.

 

Tthe other three are against

Lucasville Valley,Ohio(Should be a Ohio playoff team)

Minford,Ohio(Supposed to be loaded)

Fairview, Ky(How should they look in 06?)

I dont really see any of those 4 as being great competition other than Lawrence County. The rest are mediocre if not lower. Dawson Bryant definetly is not a powerhouse game for Lawrence County, but gives them a close Out of State game. They would have been better off to play the local WV teams, that would have been better competition next year.

Lucasville Valley is D-5 and on the way back up.

They had a good season in 05.

Minford isn't usually a team that scares you, but next season they should be a playoff team.

 

I can see Valley giving Lawrence County all they want most years, if not beating them.

 

*I would root for (L-County) if those two did play.

Yes Sheldon Clark is LC opener, but Ohio doesn't start their season until Kentucky is in week 2. This would be Coal Groves opening game for their season.

I was going to make the topic Coal Grove to Open with Lawrence County, but being this is the Kentucky site I went with the in state team first.

 

As I told the coach L.C. is my favorite Kentucky team, so I wish his tema a great 9-1 season, he laughed and said thanks.
