Who do you think will win the 10th region? I know Bourbon Co had to go 11 innings for the win last night against Harrison Co. Who will be pictching for them tonight.

I am not real familiar with the pitching rules of baseball, so could someone explain who can pitch tonight for both teams....thanks.

Your thoughts and predictions.

As far as I'm aware, Vaughn threw 6 innings on Monday for Bourbon so he would be available to come back tonight after the obligatory 2 days rest. (3-5 innings - 1 calendar day; 6 innings - 2 calendar days; 7-9 innings - 3 calendar days). Mullins and Norman are both unavailable on the mound, but aside from that it looks like the rest of the staff would be available.

On the Clark side, it would appear that everyone not named Withrow would be available on the hill for them.

Should be a good one.

I would think Tyler Clark would pitch for Bourbon County, and Brent Stoneking for Clark County.

I like Bourbon County to win this game.

What grade are both these pitchers in? Cound Matinez possibly go for Clark in this one?

I believe Tyler Clark is a senior, and Stoneking is a freshman.

Thanks so much for the info. I try and support the kids in baseball but really don't know all the rules. Now basketball is another story....

Bourbon's ace is Chase Mullins, who is committed to UK. Their number two pitcher is Chris Norman. However, in last night's slugfest against Harrison County, they threw 5 and 6 innings, respectively. So neither are eligible to pitch tonight.

Hasn't Norman commited to NKU?

Thanks, I figured with so many innings last night, that they would have at least one pitcher that couldn't play tonight.
