CovCath senior Pitcher Adam Shumate signs today with Hanover College. After many hours of mulling over multiple College offers that included Centre, Bellermine and Thomas More, Adam commits to Hanover. I love it when good things happen to good kids. Adam, good luck to you in what I'm sure is going to be a very successful pitching career.

I also heard that the Hanover football coach really wants Adam to play for him as well, but Adam is going to concentrate on baseball.

I think Adam's best days are ahead of him. Once he gets to work with a true pitching coach who can focus on the minor yet very important mechanic details he can be a good D3 pitcher and have a nice career.
