In what was a day of dramatic, climactic finishes for the Mustangs, Zach Fardo connected on a 3-run home run in the top of the 7th Inning to propel the Mustangs to a 5-4 win over 37th District Seeding opponent, Campbell County.

 

Ian Hehman, the hero of the Boone County victory played earlier in the day, was the successful Mustang closer, who pitched two shutout innings to preserve the Mustangs lead, was the winner. Michael Teegarden was the losing pitcher for the Camels.

 

Michael Kramer hit a home run for the Camels.

The win over Campbell County upped the Mustangs mark to 14-6, but a 4-2 win over Highlands on Sunday improved their mark to 15-6.
