Mustang Posted May 1, 2011 Share Posted May 1, 2011 In what was a day of dramatic, climactic finishes for the Mustangs, Zach Fardo connected on a 3-run home run in the top of the 7th Inning to propel the Mustangs to a 5-4 win over 37th District Seeding opponent, Campbell County. Ian Hehman, the hero of the Boone County victory played earlier in the day, was the successful Mustang closer, who pitched two shutout innings to preserve the Mustangs lead, was the winner.
