Catholic jumped out to an early 8-0 lead before the Jumpers bats come alive. Junior Jarred Price gets the win for Somerset. Price give up only 3hits and 1 run over 5 innings. Somerset's offense was led by Morehead State signee Taylor Sears with 2 hits, 2 runs scored and 2 stolen bases, Senior Erik Manning with a 3-run HR and an RBI double by Senior David VanHook.

Good win for Somerset. With the result of the Mercer game it sounds like they have gotten on track. Having Price back is big, he'll be a big boost on the mound and in the hitting lineup.

It was a nice comback by Somerset, the 8-0 lead was at the end of the 1st, but Catholic gave this game away. Somerset scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th on 4 errors and there only hit of the inning was a routine ground ball to the right side of the firstbaseman that hit something and popped over his left shoulder, all 3 runs scored on wild pitches. Somerset deserves credit though for not giving up.
