St. Henry @ Ludlow 1/26/11 Predictions

St. Henry 1-12 takes on Ludlow tonight in a 34th District matchup. I have to go with the Crusaders in this one. What does everyone think? Dixie and Lloyd have the first two seeds in the District is the 3rd seed that important in this District this year?

I watched both Ludlow and St Henry in the All "A" at NCC last week and I think that Ludlow will prevail in this matchup .

Only 2 games that matter right now for St Henry is Ludlow tonight and Villa next week. Win those two and you get another shot at Lloyd in the district....and a chance to get to the Regional.

 

Barnett is getting close to coming back...probably full strength for him some time next week. Possibly could dress this Friday vs CovCath

 

Nothing else matters. 1-12 doesn't matter. Losses to Newport, Grant Co. McNick, Cooper don't matter. Just win these 2 and you still have a chance to get back to the regional....sounds crazy but 1 step at a time. Cru wins tonight!

So if St. Henry takes both games Ludlow and Villa they will play Lloyd for their first game in the districts what happens if they split those two games who would they draw?

1. Dixie 4-0

2. Lloyd 2-1 with Villa remaining

3. Ludlow 1-2 or 0-2, not sure if first Villa game was their district game or not. If not, they have yet to play St. Henry and Villa.

4. St. Henry 0-2 with Ludlow and Villa left.

5. Villa Madonna 0-1 or 0-2, not sure if first Ludlow game was their district game or not. If not, they have yet to play Ludlow, Lloyd, and St. Henry

 

A lot of basketball left, but Dixie is the #1 Seed and Lloyd is likely the #2 unless they drop a bomb against Villa.

If they split they'd play either Villa or Ludlow in rnd 1 with Dixie waiting for the winner in the Semis
