Got to see Ryle,WOW, BC will have problems guarding this bunch. Have seen both teams play and if Ryle plays even close to what I saw they will be happy with results.

I totally agree. Last year, there wasn't another team that could upset Boone or Ryle...this year, NCC, NDA, and SH could take out Boone or Ryle on any given night on a neutral floor. On the big stage and under intense pressure...I'd take Dawn and Fookes (not in that order) every time.

 

I agree with everything except it only being a two team race last year. While Ryle did beat NCC last year in the regional, that gamewasn't over till the final seconds. If those two teams had to play 10 times based on that game neither team would have won more than 6 or 7 game tops. the game was hotly contested. the big difference was Jump i believe it was hit five 3's I would think. One of which was at least 25 ft out with just over a minute to play and NCC was leading. I might be partial but those two teams were definately able to compete with the other two.

NCC has played Boone and Ryle pretty competitively the past couple of years, but they haven't beaten either team in the past 4-5yrs (including 0-6 since Dawn). NCC is much improved and can absolutely beat any team in the 9th on any given night, but "hotly contested" is still a loss. They have to start beating the top teams "consistently" to be back where they once were.

 

Ryle and Boone will enjoy the limelight and publicity for one more year...then the rest of the pack catches up!

Well we don't want all these Ryle fans to get too bored so what about this tough schedule. Understand i don't keep up with Florida basketball so i will keep it in Kentucky. How many top 20 teams have they played? How many more to play?

Ryle's 3 losses are to Cincinnati Colerain, Villa Marie Academy of Pa., and Louisville Sacred Heart. They have only play 3 teams in the 9th Region,so far, and none of those games were even close. They still have Boone, NCC, St. Henry and NDA on their regular season schedule. Boone is the only other local school who has played a schedule comparable to Ryle's.

Looking at rosters from last year did NC not loose their two best players, Sandfoss and Tabor. Ryle lineup and roster looks the same. I think that Notre Dame and NC are still capable, but I saw regional game, take those two seniors off floor for NC and it is not a game.
