Paris opens up 15 point lead in 3rd quarter. Bracken County storms back in the 4th to cut the lead to 3 points with 3 minutes left. Lady Bears had a couple of good opportunities to cut the lead to 1, but couldn't convert. Paris widens lead in the final 2 minutes and advances to Sunday afternoon's final vs. the Brossart/St. Patrick winner.

 

Sara Sticklen w/ 18 pts & 8 rebs for Bracken, who scored 22 of their 42 points from the FT line.

 

Senior center Allana Ahrens goes down in the 3rd quarter with what appeared to be a nasty injury to her knee.

 

Paris was very aggressive & is a well-coached team. Best of luck to them on Sunday. Congrats also to the Lady Bears for making a nice comeback.
