Final

GRC will take on Wheeler tomorrow at 1:45 for the championship of the consolation bracket. Go Cards!!

Good for the state of Kentucky.

Good for the state of Kentucky.

GRC had a very good showing in the Beachball Classic. This St Rita team out of Chicago is very good. They are very athletic and long. They really applied a pressure press defense and GRC handled it well and got several easy baskets off of it. That is one thing that this GRC team has really improved on is braking the press defense. We won't see any harder presses from anyone in the state of Ky this season that we had thrown at us in the Beachball tourney.

GRC went 2-2 in the tourney and finished up runner -up in the Consolation championship game.

If GRC gets advances out of the region, they will definitely see great presses with length and quickness. There is always a few teams like that in Louisville that bring that play to Rupp. Then again they might see it some on their regular season schedule prior to post season.

Agree that GRC has put together a brutal schedule this year in preparing them for post season. One of the strongest schedules in the state.
